my dreamwidth is dead because obviously people haven't done the full migration yet, so i'm gonna chuck a greatest hits kind of thing up here, just repost my favourite of my fics. (moods are on this. like fucking myspace. what a weird site.)

Date: 2018-12-06 01:22 am (UTC)One of the most useful things I think to know if you're posting fic is that the equivalent of a "readmore" here is a "cut" and can be done like so:
<cut text="what text you want the viewer to click to see the full entry"> all your fic text goes here </cut>
The tradition for posting fic here (all up to individual users' tastes of course) is also to write out a header. It's something like
Title: Whatever
Author: you
Rating: you get the idea
Pairing:
Summary:
Notes:
and then a cut for the fic text.
You can use <strong> and <em> (for emphasis) just like on AO3 for bold and italics.
There's more info in general here too: What Dreamwidth-specific markup/HTML tags can I use? This talks about how to link to other users as well.
What's REALLY important to note here is that to get the tags to show up (I couldn't get the raw code to stay as raw code), I had to do & l t ; and & g t ; but in practice you'd want to type out the greater than/less than signs yourself, not just copy/paste what I have here, because it may not work.
Hope that helps!

If you just type it you're fine
